Physician Bio

Dr. Alan Sheydwasser is a fellowship-trained interventional pain management physician who is double board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology.He grew up in northeastern Pennsylvania and he received a degree in bioengineering from the University of Pittsburgh, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.Dr. Sheydwasser went on to earn his medical degree from Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine. While a medical student, Dr. Sheydwasser received the merit-based Dr. Sam Houston Sanders Scholarship.He then completed his internship, anesthesiology residency, and interventional pain management fellowship at Harvard Medical School’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. During fellowship, he received specialized training in interventional pain management procedures from the leaders in the field.
