Physician Bio

Rajesh Rethnam graduated from medical school at the Government Medical College Kottayam in Kerala, India. He completed his residency at Drexel University College of Medicine – Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He then went on to complete his fellowships at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, NY.Board certified in Pulmonary medicine, Sleep medicine, Obesity medicine, Internal medicine, Critical care medicine and Neurocritical care medicine. His clinical interests include critical care, sleep apnea, insomnia, parasomnia, narcolepsy, circadian rhythm disorders, asthma, COPD, sarcoidosis, neuro-muscular diseases, pulmonary fibrosis and insulin resistance.Rethnam has been in practice since 1997 and sees patients 17 years and older. He believes in taking as much time as needed to address each patient’s concerns and is dedicated to providing the best possible care to keep his patients healthy. He speaks English, Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi. Office staff speaks Spanish.
