As a former NCAA Division 1 athlete, Dr. George understands the importance of an active lifestyle for his patients. He specializes in sports medicine and general orthopedics, utilizing minimally invasive procedures to maximize recovery time. Dr. George provides operative and non-operative treatments for all age groups, as well as in-office physical therapy.With nearly 20 years of experience treating athletes from little league to professionals, Dr. George has worked with the medical teams of the Houston Energy, Cyclones, Rockets, and former Oilers. He is board certified by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.Dr. George's practice near The Galleria offers individualized care in English and Spanish. He completed his medical training at Tulane University, with a residency and sports medicine fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine.
